  5. By using this program, the user assumes full responsibility

  15. To begin using the Modem applet, simply use HPC Explorer to
  16. copy the CPL file for your handheld computer (HPC) to the
  17. HPC itself. Be sure to copy the file to the \Windows
  18. directory on the HPC so the applet appears in Control Panel.

  21. A list of devices are displayed when the applet is started.
  22. Select a device to investigate and select the "Info" button
  23. (or press Enter). The applet will begin to query the device
  24. using various AT commands and display the results in the
  25. large edit field in the center of the window. Of course,
  26. this is assuming that the device selected is a modem, either
  27. a PCMCIA device or something connected to the serial port.
  28. You may refresh the device list at any time by selecting the
  29. "Find Devices" button.
